Serial 1 Ebike Discounts?
« on: February 15, 2021, 02:58:17 AM »
Today I got a notification on my phone of a promotion with PayPal. $150 off my next purchase at Serial 1 bike company. Not sure if this is targeted but thought I'd share. See attached screenshot (you need to have an account to view it)

Dang already paid for mine.  Every bit helps.

Congress had a couple E-Bike bills introduced, Both bills modify IRS tax code of 1986.

The E-Bike Act (Electric Bicycle Incentive Kickstart for the Environment) would give an income tax credit equal to 30% of the cost of the bike, up to a maximum credit of $1,500.

The other bill (Bicycle Commuter Act) was reintroduced here’s some text from the Bicycle Commuter Act
To amend the Internal Revenue Code of 1986 to modify employer-provided fringe benefits for bicycle commuting.    So if you commute via bike you could get some tax benefit.    Getting paid to ride that’s like being a pro rider.

There is currently another discount from Serial 1. Using coupon code "4wheels" will get you $300 off when you purchase two Serial 1 electric bikes.

I work from home but I can happily leave at 8 AM and ride for an hour to get to work, then ride for an hour at 5 PM to get home, all the while collecting $1,500
